HOSTEL

Mankessim College provides convenient residential accommodation for students from outside Mankessim and all who want to experience campus life.

The accomadation available at Mancollege is one of the greatest advantages of schooling here. Mancollege is home to many students. We appreciate how important it is to find housing. Dinning

There is a twenty seater cafeteria on campus where students can eat. There are also eateries and eating spots close to the campus.

Transportation

Taxis are available from Mankessim round about to campus, making the commute easy.

Rules and Regulations at the hostel

It is a privilege to be accommodated by the College and all efforts be made to make life
meaningful.

The students’ room should be kept orderly at all times. Rooms will be inspected from time to time. Money and valuables are to be kept locked and the college cannot be responsible for any loss. Students are expected to clean their own rooms and shower stalls. All water taps are to be turned off when not in use. Water should be used economically.
Nail tacks etc. are not to be driven into the walls. Pictures should not be posted on the walls.
Students are requested to report all breakages, defects and damages such as leaking taps, blocked pipes etc.
Quietness must be maintained at the hostel at all times. Students should reduce the volume of their radio/musical instrument at all times.
Lights should be out by 10:30 pm. Any student who wishes to study late should use the
classroom. Light in the hostel should be put off when not in used.
Quarrying in the hostel will lead to two weeks suspension
Hostels should be locked up during classes hours
All litter should be put in the bin provided
Over electric light when connected for ironing are dangerous and can cause fire outbreak.
Candle light are forbidden in the dormitories
Any leakage stove would not be allowed at the hostel

EXEAT

Students are allowed to travel outside Mankessim, 2 times in a semester with permission.
Students are allowed to go to Mankessim town for other needs with permission from the in-charge.
Students should be within the college premises before 6:00 pm except on Exeat.
Any students who leave the hostel premises without exeat will be dismiss from the College.

VISITORS
Students may receive visitors during the appointed visiting hours i.e. Saturday/Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, entertain only in the Reception and not in the Hostel. Any student found to entertain visitor in the hostel would be dealt with according to the disciplinary
code. No visitors during classes and after 6:00pm
